In light of UNCCA’s continued growth, we are pleased to advertise our interest in recruiting an intern for a 6-month fixed term position. Please note that this internship will be remote and non-remunerated. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute no more than 2-4 hours per week remotely (with physical presence where needed, e.g. organisation of events).
The successful candidate will assist UNCCA in developing and realising the organisation’s strategic plan. This will likely involve participation in fortnightly/monthly meetings, assistance in preparation of communications (including newsletters and preparation of reports), and assistance in preparation of UNCCA events, including the annual UN Day and May Seminar series.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an interested law student to get their foot in the door and engage in close work with young and senior practitioners, academics, judges, and barristers in a close and collaborative setting, in the joint pursuit of furthering UNCCA’s efforts and positioning as a world leading National UNCITRAL Coordination Committee.
Interested applicants are advised to submit a copy of their CV together with a covering email to Dr Dalma Demeter, Deputy Chair (Dalma.Demeter@canberra.edu.au) and Jagpreet Sandhu (Marketing Director) (firstname.lastname@example.org) by no later than 30 June 2019.
